John – we met in
Atlanta
and I immediately bought your E-Z Que for the Weber 22.5”. I love that
thing. It was the least hassle grill-roasting I have ever done. First we tossed
a couple brined chickens in the big basket, banked some coals and walked away.
The birds were excellent. About a day later, I had to do a 10 pound Boston Butt.
It made the best pork tacos this side of the Tex Mex taco wagons. I got some
wood chunks in there to get some smoke effect. It was a lot easier than messing
with any other of the too many grills I have.
I did lay a couple
pieces of 1” bys across the top of the ring near the edges so I could set the
cover over the pit. It worked fine but I’ll need to use something that won’t
burn.
I write The Fire Zone for the Tennessean in
Nashville. It’s a weekly grilling-outdoor column that
runs in the food section. I want to get you in there in the next couple
weeks. Can you just shoot me a couple lines I could include as quotes from you?
Tell me what inspired you to create your E-Z Ques, what’s your favorite thing
to cook with them (or favorite recipe), what’s the most popular item in your
line. Nothing lengthy, just something to put your voice into the
story. I’ll have your web address in there, too. The HOBO is cool and I
want to make sure to mention it as well.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I was
glad to have met you and, no kidding, I’ve been just blown away with this thing.
I’m doing a leg of lamb for my gal for Easter. We’ll be hanging with the
E-Z Que in the carport if it rains. She looked at me and said, “I haven’t seen
you this exciting about grilling in a long time.” And I’m generally pretty
exciting about grilling.
Thanks,
rbquinn

I recently purchased your 6"
cradle for my Weber Platinum grill. I just want to tell you that I couldn't be
happier with my purchase. This is the highest quality piece of grilling
equipment I have seen, and believe me, I buy a lot of toys for grillin' and
BBQin'.
My mistake in purchasing this cradle is that I should have purchased your
Hobo Rotisserie instead. Am I correct in assuming that the cradle for the Hobo
is the same as the 17.5 x 6 cradle I purchased?
A group of folks in my area are getting together for a cookout, and I want to
show off my rotisserie, but there isn't going to be electricity available where
we're going. Would it be possible to purchase the Hobo without the cradle? If
so, what would be the price?
I found a great recipe for pork loin, butter flied and stuffed with
mozzarella, spinach and prosciutto. I'd love to show this off at this cookout
along with my new rotisserie.
Thanks!
Thomas F.

We received our rotisserie
in great condition. It arrived when you said it would . Really pleased
with its quality and strength. We really like the way it is designed. The
motor stayed cool to the touch whiles the 10 pound pork shoulder cooked.
The battery motor never lugged down. Wish we could have found it on-line
sooner. Suggest selling thru Camping World. They have nothing comparable.
Really a great way to cook large cuts of meat while RVing. (We are full
timers.)
Thank You

Dear John,
Thank you! My husband and I
are very impressed with your customer service. We think you have an
amazingly clever, unique and innovative product, and we look forward to many
years of gourmet camping with your rotisserie.

The
chickens came out great. I received many compliments from the guests. In
the lower right hand corner of the top picture you can see a big chunk of
oak sitting on top of the charcoal basket.
By the way,
when do you think the WSM / 18" Weber Kettle EZ-Que will be available?

Hello there,
First of all, let me tell you how excited we are to have found your
product. We're already fans, and we're using it only for the second time
today for our big annual Christmas party. Nothing like grillin'
on a cold Boston day! My only comment about the product is that I have to
take the grill grates out of the grill in order to use the
cradle rotisserie. Is there some way to use it while still having
the grill grates in there? We'd love to be able to throw a few things on
the grill along with the chickens, etc.
I've also just placed an order to send the Hobo to my mom and her husband
for Christmas... so they'll be spreading the word too. They be the envy of
all the other campers when they are out in the wilderness.
Thanks very much,
Rhonda K

Hello John:
It was great to speak to you and your Dad. I can tell you that I am a great
fan of your products. I use the Hobo often while camping and it's never let me
down. First of all, it delivers great cooked meals.
Second, watching that thing turn over the coals is almost as fun as eating
the food. It's been a great boon to my cooking repertoire.
On an additional note, one of my camping buddies is so thrilled with the Hobo
that he'd like to get one. I told him that I'd speak to you and see if you'd
give him a deal.

Mr. Waltman,
Just
wanted to take a moment to say "Thank You" for the lightening fast shipping
of my weekend order of an E-Z Que rotisserie. I was shocked when it arrived
yesterday! I sincerely appreciate the fast shipping and can't wait to use
it with my friends and family! I'm sure they'll want to know where to get
one.
Thanks again!
George

My sister
and bro-in-law loved the Hobo and she is so hard to shop for!!! We got
home last night and I did a chicken that came out fantastic. She is
doing 2 tonight.

Thank you. I can't wait for my husband to open this and
see his reaction on his face. He has no idea that he is getting this.
We are actually having an Ohio State game party on January 2nd and were
going to use my brother-in-law's spit. I know this will come in very
handy. Please keep me on your mailing list for any new items that you
may have for grilling.

I have
had my Weber for over a year, use it a lot. Recently bought an E-Z Que
basket rotisserie for it and have been making cornish game hens for eight to
ten people using it. Gotten raves about how good they are. Recently also
made a leg of lamb and a pork roast, each with different rubs or liquid
sauces, and got raves for those also. So I'm plugging Weber and the E-Z Que
people. Their website is
http://www.ezqueinc.com. They were darned nice about shipping the whole
thing to me in time for a party I had, and they know their stuff. It is a
bit pricy but they deserve their accolates because they make a fine heavy
duty product. I'm not associated with them so whatever I say comes from my
own experience. The Weber people shipped me a new igniter when mine went on
the fritz and didn't charge me. Great customer service from two companies.

i just bought one of your E-Z rotis units. wow. i love it.
in the past 2 weeks i have rotissed pork loins, whole ham, and chickens.
all have come out PERFECT with no real prep work like my old rotis (rod &
fork style). I
also luv the way it comes apart so easily when you are ready to plate the
food. but
the real bonus ! when i unscrew the rod ends, the basket fits
perfectly in my dishwasher. you should really promote this in your
ads, because NO ONE likes to clean the rotis parts.
we are absolutely delighted and will recommend this product freely to
friends.
best,
bob (and cindy) b
